一、教学内容:
牛津小学英语5B Unit 9 The English Club A 板块对话语篇。
二、单元教材分析:
本单元的核心教学内容是介绍国家、国籍和语言,重点学习句型Where are you from? Do you speak…?及其答语。有10个四会词汇,11个三会词汇。与本单元教学内容有联系的有3A Unit 11和4B Unit 8。
本单元着重介绍六个国家的名称和语言,教师可在教授过程中适当补充各国的风土人情,加深对这些国家语言文化背景的了解,扩大语言练习的渠道,同时激发学生的学习热情。也可鼓励学生通过上网,查阅书籍等多种手段自己收集相关国家的图片资料,为课上的操练提供素材,为教学内容的发展作好铺垫,以期取得更好的学习效果。在教学过程中,要帮助学生掌握国家名称,国籍和所用语言的对应关系,使其能正确运用和表达。并学会用相关语言介绍自己和他人情况;也可以结合学生掌握情况,适当补充另外一些国家的名称和语言,为学生进一步交际提供较为广阔的训练空间。
在以往的学习中,学生已学过China, Chinese, English,因此教师可采用以旧带新的方法,拓展相关内容。我们设计将A板块的内容作为第一课时的主要教学内容。
三、教学目标:
基于以上对本单元教材的分析,就第一课时确立目标如下:
(一) 知识与技能
1. 掌握单词和词组:visitor, country, UK, British, USA, American, French, city, visit.
2. 能正确地理解并掌握语篇内容,了解国家的相关讯息。
3. 能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语:Where are you from? I’m from…Are you from…? Yes, I am./ No, I’m not. Do you speak…? Yes, I do./No, I don’t. 并结合情境进行话题的语言交际。
(二) 过程与方法
通过教师的自我介绍引出句型I’m … I’m from… I’m a … I speak…,由PPT中人物的情况引出英国、美国的国家、国籍、语言,导入新课,引出新知。然后通过文本背景的介绍,再通过多媒体为学生提供生动的语言交际情境,采用整体---局部---整体的方法,开展形式多样的语言实践活动,着重训练学生听、说技能,以提高学生用英语进行交流的能力。 还利用角色扮演和文本再构两个任务活动,来培养学生大胆说英语的能力,开拓学生的视野。
(三)情感态度价值观
通过本单元教学,对相关国家的风土人情和文化背景有初步的了解和认识。扩展学生视野,丰富学生课外知识,激发学生求知欲,培养学生热爱世界的良好情感,提高学生对英语的兴趣和实际运用语言的能力。
(四)语篇板块教学分层目标:
A层:掌握所学词汇、语法,流利背诵或表演对话,能拓展自设情景进行表演,灵活掌握所学日常交际用语。
B层:掌握所学词汇、语法,模仿对话,能在课后背诵教师规定的课文,能进行简单的课文复述。
C层:基本掌握所学词汇、句型,理解并能朗读课文。
四、教学重难点:
1. 能比较流畅地朗读文章,正确理解并掌握文章内容。
2. 通过对A板块的语篇学习活动,能在情景中正确运用句型:Where are you from? I'm / He's/ She's /It's/ We're/ They're from… Do you speak…? 及其答语Yes, I do. I speak…, too. No, I don't. I speak… 进行交际。
五、教学策略:
基于文本,联系生活。要在自然的情景中,创设比较真实的语言情境,调动学生已有的知识结构,导入教学;通过互动问答引领学生深入学习语篇,用多媒体录音创设信息差,鼓励学生积极获取信息,感知所学;通过对对话语篇的解读,让学生获取更为详细的信息,加深学生对对话语篇的理解;通过系列操练活动引导学生将相关语言知识形成语言技能,并进一步引导学生大胆运用,同时对各层次的学生分层要求,分组操练。

A group of people who likes English meet together regularly to communicate in English.At the first time, they usually meet each other and talk about their names, nationalities, hobbies,families and so on.
(设计意图:(通过Sing a song和Free talk,来调动学生的积极性,同时复习了以前所学的内容,并引入新授知识。)
Step 2 New lesson teaching
1. Now, let’s go to the English Club together.
(1) (Show a picture of Liu Xiang), T: Who is he? Where is he from? Where are you from?You and Liu Xiang are from the same country. (Learn:country)
T:I’m from China.I’m Chinese.I speak Chinese.

T: We live in Wuxi. Where does Liu Xiang live in?
He lives in Shanghai, the biggest city in China.(Learn:city)

(3) (Show a picture of Harry Potter),T: Look at this boy. Who is he?He speaks English, too. Is he from the USA, too? Let’s have a look.
呈现英国国旗,引出单词the UK。
引导学生说:He’s from the UK. So he is British. Teach:British.
T: Can you say anything about Harry Potter?
S: He’s from the Uk. He’s British. He speaks English.
(4) Work in pairs.
A:Where are you from? B:I am from …
A:Do you speak… B:Yes,I do.
(5)Say a chant.
Chinese speak Chinese.
British speak English.
Americans speak English,too

(设计意图:通过老师和孩子们进入英语俱乐部见到刘翔、乔丹……,自然学习了在情境中学习了新知并进行了操练和运用。同时营造了English Club的交际氛围。最后及时用chant进行趣味巩固,利于学生记忆辨析。)

(设计意图: 精读部分通过Listen and repeat, Read in role 两个环节让学生进一步熟悉文本,培养学生朗读和记忆能力;再通过翻译练习和 Read and finish the diary的技能训练检验学生对文本的掌握程度。通过给学生设置不同的任务,让学生在完成教师给出任务的同时,不断巩固和使用所学的新知。)
